Our Philosophy
Applitrack is built with privacy as a core principle. We collect only what is necessary to provide the service, we don't track you, and we don't sell your data.
What We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Microsoft, Google, or GitHub, we receive:
- Your email address
- Your display name
We use this to identify your account and display your name in the application.
Job Search Data
You enter information about your job search, including:
- Job postings (company names, positions, descriptions)
- Applications (dates, methods, contacts)
- Interviews (dates, interviewers, notes)
- Follow-ups (action items, due dates)
- Uploaded files (resumes, cover letters)
This data belongs to you. We store it solely to provide the service.
Server Logs
Our web server automatically logs standard request information:
- IP address
- Browser type
- Pages visited
- Timestamps
These logs are used only for security monitoring and debugging. We do not use analytics services or tracking scripts.
What We Don't Do
- We don't run analytics or tracking scripts
- We don't sell or share your data with third parties
- We don't use your data for advertising
- We don't read your job search data unless you contact support and explicitly share it
Data Storage
Your data is stored on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
Data Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. When you delete your account:
- All your job search data is permanently deleted immediately
- All uploaded files are permanently deleted immediately
- This action cannot be undone
Data Export
Data export functionality is not available in the current version. We plan to add this feature in a future update.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is essential for the application to function and is deleted when you log out or close your browser. We do not use tracking cookies.
Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to this privacy policy, we will notify you through the application before the changes take effect.
